- How do I find a property with a search on Globrix?
-
We try and make this as easy as possible. First select whether you are looking to buy or rent a property. Then use the search box. The most intuitive and common way of searching for a property is to start with a location. There are a number of different location types you can enter. For example:
- Postcodes e.g. NW3
- Full postcodes e.g. N7 0QZ
- Towns e.g. Newbury
- Counties e.g. Lancashire
- A specific street e.g. London Road, Liverpool
- A borough e.g. Brent
- A place of interest e.g. Hampstead Heath Tube Station
You will notice as you type some suggested locations appearing below the search box which serve as a guide for you to find the right location. For example, if you are looking for a specific street the query suggestions will show that you need to enter a street and a postcode or town to be more specific. If you see the right location suggested simply click on this and hit enter.
Once you have entered your search you will then be taken straight to the results that list the relevant properties.
- What if Globrix can't find the location I am looking for?
-
Please let us know via the feedback form. If you then try a location very near or a larger location then you can use the map to navigate to the exact area you are looking for.
- Can I do more advanced searches in Globrix?
-
You can indeed, some to try: 3 bedrooms nw3, swimming pool, private garden nw2
- How can I narrow my search to a specific price range?
-
The best way of doing this is to search by your location, and then easily and quickly refine your price using the price slider that sits along the top of the results. Some tips on using the price slider:
- Clicking anywhere along the price slider will move the minimum price restriction up to that point.
- To set a maximum limit drag the right hand red slider to the left
- You can also use the 2 input boxes to enter an exact range. Enter the minimum and maximum price and then click the >> button. You can enter formats like 350000, 350k, 350
- What features should I look out for when using Globrix?
-
- Try searching via the map view of the properties. This allows you to zoom in and out, and drag the map to different locations, with the relevant properties loading in as you navigate
- Use the filters: set your price range and number of bedrooms and then navigate via the map to view all the relevant properties
- Try the "search near here" button - this will show you all properties within a radius of the one you clicked, a quick and simple way to target a specific location
- The price slider (located at the top of the property listings) is a quick and efficient way of narrowing your search to a specific price range
